Redpoint Bristol: #1 on Google for the searches that fill Bristol’s biggest climbing centre
Redpoint is Bristol’s biggest indoor climbing centre — and it sits at #1 on Google for the searches that fill it, from “climbing bristol” to “climbing centre near me”. We built the website, won those rankings from a standing start, and have defended them at the top.

The challenge
When Redpoint opened the doors to Bristol’s largest climbing wall, the building was impossible to miss — but online, it didn’t exist. A brand-new website meant no rankings, no Google Maps presence and no organic traffic, in a city with established gyms already competing for every “climbing in Bristol” search.
What we did
1. Built the foundation
We designed and built the Redpoint website from the ground up — roped climbing, bouldering, beginners’ courses, kids’ climbing, parties, memberships and NICAS qualifications — each on its own optimised page, with a Google Business Profile set up to match.
2. Rapidly earned page-one rankings
We targeted the high-intent local terms first and moved Redpoint to the top of both organic Google and the Maps pack from an initial ranking of nothing.
3. Defended the top — then widened the net
We hold those positions month after month while widening the topical net, and we maintain the site — security, updates, performance.
The results
Redpoint ranks #1 on Google for the terms that matter most in its city, and holds top positions in the Map Pack alongside them.
